"My World is Green" is the title for next year's Sue Ridgewell Challenge. I began this yesterday, using up scraps. No newly painted fabrics in order to keep in with the topic.
To prove that it is a good idea to come back to something the next day, you can see where I have removed the top strips because they were not working for me.
I decided to use this technique of strips after doing this small piece.
I am also going to be working on this, which was going to be my first choice for the challenge.
I have wanted to a larger version of my stitched sea/landscapes for a while and thought this would be a good time to do that. However, they are very stitch intensive and decided not to put any time constraints on when this one would be finished. It could take a while.
